come experience the move of god!
Our mission is reaching up to reach out, sharing the love of God, restoring relationships through Jesus Christ our Lord. Our church motto is “Strengthening the saved to reach the lost,” which is found in our foundational scripture, 2nd Corinthians 5:17-20. Our progressive vision concentrates entirely on walking out our mission: reaching up in order to reach out, in the spirit of love and divine excellence. Our corporate emphasis is to develop, nurture and increase the body of Christ.
the spirit of god is on the move!
While serving in Community Chapel (Ft. Campbell Gospel Service), Bishop Clarence and 1st Lady Wanda Williams made a visit to the Woodson’s home and released a word from God: the call to pastor. Several months later, the Lord pressed upon the spirit of Pastor (Elder) Richard Woodson to do more to reach and teach the people of God. In late 2002, Bishop Woodson and 1st Lady Sherry started a bible study in their home. Beginning with a handful of saints, which was the seed that started this ministry, the bible study grew to over 20 saints from 2003-2004, and the Lord blessed them tremendously.
God moved again in the spirit of Bishop and 1st Lady Sherry Woodson. They knew they could no longer continue laboring in Community Chapel. God was calling them to minister within the Clarksville community. Doors began to open for him to take a lead elder’s role in a Christian church. After much prayer and discussion with 1st Lady and Chaplain Young, he began to move towards planting a church.
Bishop Woodson prayed to God to close and open the right doors. The vision became clear for the birth of a new ministry to include the foundational scripture 2 Corinthians 5:17-20. Pastor Woodson reached out to Minister Nicholson, who was a part of the growing bible study, and shared the vision for a new ministry with her. After much prayer, Minister Nicholson, and later Elder Anderson, joined him.
our church is anointed by god
In August 2004, Bishop Woodson invited the faithful bible study attendees to a meeting to share the vision for the ministry and to gain their support. The meeting was a great success. November 7th, 2004 was set for the first official church service for Reconciliation Evangelistic Outreach Center (R.E.O.C.) This service was held in the meeting room of the Quality Inn. When the doors opened for the first service, many came to support. Of course there were many obstacles along the way and many hindrances to overcome, but God was responsible for the outcome.
In a matter of six months, the ministry outgrew the meeting room of the Quality Inn. In June 2005, R.E.O.C. relocated to 1313 Ft. Campbell Blvd. The ministry continued to grow, and about a year later in June 2006, R.E.O.C. moved to 1155 Ft. Campbell Blvd. God continued to bless our ministry. Our home is now 959 Tiny Town Rd.
